In the following notes, a ‘client’ is defined as the entity or individual which has agreed to purchase a supply of HeadsUp sessions and a ‘participating manager’ is the individual who has been allocated one or more sessions from that supply and which schedules and holds the sessions with the HeadsUp expert.
Once the client has agreed to purchase a supply of sessions for allocation to their participating managers an invoice will be sent for the amount of sessions which are intended to be conducted for the first calendar quarter or part thereof.
Credit terms require payment within 30 days of date of invoice.
Invoices will be submitted in advance of each subsequent calendar quarter for an amount which relates to the cost of sessions intended for the upcoming quarter adjusted for the variance between the invoiced and actual number of sessions that were conducted in the previous quarter.
In the event of a client cancelling their supply of HeadsUp sessions, a full refund for all unscheduled sessions will be made.
In the event that a session is scheduled by a participant and is then cancelled by the participant or the client more than three days before the session is to be conducted, the session is not chargeable. A session which is cancelled within three days of the scheduled appointment time will not be chargeable if the session is re-scheduled with the same HeadsUp expert within the next two weeks. All other cancelled sessions will be included in the tally for invoiced supply. Cancellations should be made by email to the HeadsUp expert with which the session has been scheduled.
This policy covers the Centre‘s treatment of personally identifiable information that the Centre collects when users are on the website and using the Centre‘s services.
Various types of information are collected from visitors so that our site and services can be modified to meet visitors’ needs and expectations. Some of this information is collected automatically through cookies, and other information is collected when participants are registered for services.
Cookies are small text files that are placed on a computer by the websites visited. Cookies make the interaction between users and websites faster and easier. When a user visits the Centre website, cookies enable us to measure which pages are viewed.
The types of information your browser or internet session automatically sends each time you visit our site includes: your browser, your Internet Service Provider, your computer’s operating system, your navigation path, that is, the URL of where you came to our site from, which of our pages you visited, and your IP address.
This information lets us see how users are finding our site and it tells us which pages are visited the most often so we can make our website more useful. This information in no way enables us to identify you personally.
In addition to the information automatically collected by your browser, we also collect information that is provided to us when a participant is registered for the website and when that participant uses the website. This allows an individual to re-use the same log-in details. This contact information is added to a secure database
The Centre for Management Research in Action guarantees that all the information provided either electronically or physically will not be passed to any third parties other than those that are working for or with The Centre for Management Research in Action in the delivery of our services. The Centre does not sell or otherwise distribute mailing lists to third parties.
The Data Protection Act 1998 prohibits us from sending your personal details to a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA) without your informed consent. The Centre works in partnership with individuals who act as HeadsUp experts and members of the Centre from countries outside the EEA and they will receive information about participamt contact details in order to properly supply the HeadsUp service.
The Centre for Management Research in Action does not sell or rent any personal data submitted by visitors to the website to any third parties. The Centre for Management Research in Action respects the privacy of users visiting our site and will abide by all applicable laws concerning the release of personal information. On occasion we may use certain directory information that we have collected to send information about services that we think may be of interest to you.

Other than directory information, data you provide to the Centre will be held in strict confidence by the organisation and will be used for purposes stated.
